APTA Core Ethics Documents

The following two APTA core ethics documents have been expanded to better delineate the ethical obligations of all PTs and PTAs. The new "Code" and "Standards" go into effect July 1, 2010.

The Code of Ethics contains principles for physical therapists (click here for a printable copy).

The Standards of Ethical Conduct for the Physical Therapist Assistant sets forth standards for physical therapist assistants (click here for a printable copy).
