APTA Core Ethics DocumentsThe following two APTA core ethics documents have been expanded better to delineate the ethical obligations of all PTs and PTAs. The new "Code" and "Standards" were enacted on July 1, 2010. The Code of Ethics contains principles for physical therapists (download a printable copy). The Standards of Ethical Conduct for the Physical Therapist Assistant sets forth standards for physical therapist assistants (download a printable copy). |
