The Arizona Physical Therapy Association Student Special Interest Group (APTA AZ SSIG) exists to enhance the educational experience of all Arizona Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistant Students and facilitate PT/PTA student contribution to and collaboration with the APTA AZ. This is accomplished through social networking as well as community and professional involvement.

The Student Special Interest Group (Student SIG) was revitalized in 2014 with a great group of progressive students looking to push the Physical Therapy profession forward.  In its short return, the Student SIG has made significant strides in increasing awareness of the profession's issues and how students can learn and get involved.

The Student SIG has also become an excellent resource for networking, community service, PT Pub Night, and the Student Conclave. The Student Conclave helps bridge the gap between student and clinician with the opportunity to hear from leading physical therapists on significant clinical skill development.
